What We Did

KreativEight was a 3D visualisation studio focused on bringing ideas to life through high-quality CGI for architecture, interiors, and product design. We worked closely with clients to translate early concepts into visuals that helped them sell, pitch, or better understand their own projects. The work spanned everything from residential exteriors to commercial interiors and leisure spaces.

Wearing Multiple Hats

As my first startup, KreativEight was a crash course in doing it all. I handled everything from client onboarding and creative direction to operations, delivery, and invoicing.

I’ve always had an appreciation for design, but early on I realised my real strengths were in execution — operations, planning, and making sure things actually shipped. That’s where I focused my energy.

Building a Network of Skilled Artists

I built a network of talented 3D artists and specialists who brought the creative muscle. My role was to keep everything aligned — client needs, creative standards, timelines — and make sure the end product delivered real value. We prioritised long-term relationships over volume, working with a small group of clients who cared about quality.

Systems that Scale

To keep projects moving smoothly, I introduced tools like Trello, Slack, Hubspot, and Xero early on. I built out workflows that gave us visibility, accountability, and predictability — even when we were juggling multiple deadlines across different time zones. It wasn’t about being flashy with tools — it was about reducing friction and keeping everyone in sync.

Financial Discipline

Part of the learning curve was getting a grip on budgets, pricing models, and financials. I built a system that kept things simple, fair, and sustainable — for clients, for the company, and for our collaborators. We focused on delivering value without bloat, and made sure profitability didn’t come at the cost of quality or trust.
